
Head down the ramp and into the next room. Defeat the two guards in the starting room and go through the door. Once the wraiths are destroyed, the level will end.Īt this point, you're forced to continue on alone. Defeat them, and then afterwards defeat the undead guards that the orange wraiths come to possess. Now jump back down into the main part of the room and fight the enemies. Inside this room you'll find the Qin Lawsook artifact. Climb onto the raised railing and then up into the opening in the wall. Before fighting them, head over to the right wall. Go through the door and you'll come into a room with more guards. The switch will cover the pit with ground and open the door. If you ever don't know where to go next, try looking below or just anywhere around you for the next platform. From there, you'll need to jump, wall walk, and whip swing to get to the invisible staircase that leads to the switch. The first platform is right below the edge of the ground above. The Mirror of Dreams will make visible the invisible platforms that you'll need to go across to get over the pit. After getting by these traps, you'll come to a pit. Run by them when they're retracted to avoid being hurt.

The first part of the trial consists of crushing walls and floor spikes. With the mirror out, the traps and hidden platforms will be visible. There are a bunch of traps in here, but you won't be able to see them that is, unless you equip the Mirror of Dreams.

This next section of the level is called the Trial of the Unseen. Defeat them to open up the door to the next room. Defeat them and some orange spirits will appear. You'll find three guards in here (as well as a Fountain). Once the level commences, head down the path and into the room with the waterfalls. Fortunately, the door behind the pillar has now opened. Go through the door at the end of the passage. Ignore the fountain since getting out will probably just lead to damage. Throw a skull diagonally to trigger two electric orbs at once and jump out. Getting into these rooms isn't too hard, but getting out can be tricky. The left contains a switch that will open the door at the end, and the right contains a Fountain. Near the end, there will be two rooms off to either side of the hall. Near the beginning of the passage, next to some of the orbs, is a Health Potion. After they stop, you'll have a few seconds to run by them before they can fire again. Throw a skull in between the orbs to cause them to go off.

There is a way to get around them, however. It's incredibly damaging, so avoiding getting hit at all costs. If you cross between any two orbs, they'll fire out a bolt of electricity. This next hallway contains a bunch of glowing orbs. This will open another doorway branching from the main hallway. At the end of the passage, you'll find a Fountain and a switch. Wait for the flames to subside, then proceed across. It's not just that easy though, since there are flame shooters that will periodically fire flames out in your path. You'll need to use your whip to swing over the pits. Head down the hallway and into the room that opened. Keep climbing until you get out of the pit. Climb on top of the parts of the wall that shoot out and avoid standing in front of any spikes. When they do, get out of the way, because the wall will shoot out and crush anything in front of it. Spikes will pop out of the holes along the wall. The piece of floor you're standing on will lower and you'll be inside a deadly trap.

Unfortunately, spinning it will also trigger a trap. You'll spot a pillar in the middle of the floor.

The tomb is full of traps, secrets, and supernatural occurrences, so be on your toes. With Mei Ying finally safe and sound and the Mirror of Dreams safely in tow, it's time to head to the climax of your journey, the Emperor's tomb.
